Your licence

Revisionary activates your installation when Strapi starts, then checks the licence every 12 hours. It sends the licence key, an installation identifier, the project domain and name, the hosts the admin is opened on, the environment, and the Strapi and plugin versions. It never sends your content.

Settings → Licence: status, plan, production projects used, and the last six characters of the key.

The answer is kept for 72 hours, so an outage of the licence service never interrupts your site. If the service stays unreachable longer, Revisionary keeps recording and shows a banner. After 30 more days without an answer, it pauses recording new versions until the service answers again; history stays readable and restorable.

A banner tells you, on every Revisionary screen, when something needs attention.

When a subscription ends

A 14-day grace period starts, with a banner counting the days. After that, Revisionary stops recording new versions. Versions already recorded stay readable and restorable, and nothing is deleted.

Offline licence (Enterprise)

Servers without internet access use a signed licence file instead of a key:

bash
REVISIONARY_LICENSE_FILE=revisionary-license.json
